According to Sports Hochi, on June 3rd, Chinzei Suzuka of popular idol group FRUITS ZIPPER addressed recent dating rumors involving Omori Motoki, the vocalist and guitarist of rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, via her official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Speculation began when fans noticed the two had matching smartphone cases, sparking rumors of a possible relationship. However, both artists publicly denied the claims during the June 2nd broadcast of TBS’s “TV x Mrs.” (10 p.m. JST).
Following the program, Omori posted on X:
“#TVMrs. We also told the truth. It was completely turned into entertainment, but we’ve been friends for several years. Thank you to everyone at FRUITS ZIPPER!!”
Chinzei echoed his sentiments on X and Instagram Stories, stating:
“It’s been painful for us to make each other’s fans worry, so I’m really happy to finally have the opportunity to talk like this. I swear to God I’m not hinting at anything! I look forward to your support and thank you for the collaboration!”
