Red Velvet’s Wendy has been voted the #1 female singer fans would like to go vote with, according to a recent poll by Ten Asia, conducted from May 29 to June 4.
Wendy’s popularity surged following her appearance on KBS 2TV’s new music entertainment show “Bangpan Music: Wherever You Go,” which premiered on May 31. She wowed audiences with powerful performances of Lee Sun-hee’s “Beautiful Rivers and Mountains” and Cherry Filter’s “Ori Nalda.” Wendy also performed a touching duet of Cho PD’s “Friend (Feat. Insooni)” with rapper Hanhae, further showcasing her vocal strength and versatility.
Girls’ Generation’s Yoona ranked second in the poll.
