According to Nikkan Sports Newspaper. On June 5, EXILE officially announced that Takanori Iwata (36) will end his activities as a member of the group after 11 years. Simultaneously, Alan Shirahama (31) will take a temporary break from EXILE to concentrate on his other ventures.
Iwata, who joined EXILE in 2014 through the EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION, expressed his gratitude and shared that he will now dedicate his efforts to Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, solo performances, and acting. He stated, “EXILE is my youth and my dream. The memories I made will always be my pride.”
Alan Shirahama, also a member since 2014, said he will be focusing on GENERATIONS, PKCZ®, and personal activities. “My respect and love for EXILE remain unchanged,” he said, asking fans for their continued support during his break.
Both artists will not be participating in EXILE’s Dome Tour set to begin this November.
